Concerts for a Cause – Charities

The mission of  Concerts for a Cause is to hold a series of concerts to raise money for  local charities while sharing a variety of quality music with the Brunswick area community.

2025-26 Concert Series

The 2025-26 season’s charities will be Oasis Free Clinics and Immigrant Legal Action Project.

2024-25 Concert Series

For the 2024-2025 fiscal year, Concerts for a Cause raised $$10,324 which was divided by our 2 charities:   Brunswick Area Teen Center and Maine Family Planning.

Receiving their monetary gifts from Concerts for a Cause Committee members Louise Gephart and Susan Michaud (on the ends), are Lauren Ouelette (Associate VP of Fund Development for Maine Family Planning) and Taylor Carter (Director of BrunswickTeen Center).

2023-2024 Concert Series

In 2023, the board voted to donate ALL the net proceeds from Concerts for a Cause to local charities from now on.  Thus, after a very successful season, the 2023-24 concerts raised $12,904  which was divided by our 2 charities:  Midcoast New Mainers Group and Oasis Free Clinics.

2019-2020 Season

For the 2019-20 fiscal year, Concerts for a Cause raised $4,371.63.   The proceeds were divided 3 ways:  1/3 to church programming and 1/3 to each of the year’s selected charities, Oasis Free Clinics and Tedford Housing.
